Approximately 20 Winston-Salem State University students traveled to the UNC-TV Research Triangle Park studios to participate in the Festival 2010 pledge drive broadcast on March 20 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. These students joined other volunteers in recording financial pledges called in by UNC-TV viewers across North Carolina and portions of southern Virginia. Their participation in the Festival 2010 broadcast continues a tradition of “Ram presence” established over the previous six years by WSSU students, alumni, faculty and staff in support of the station’s annual pledge drive campaign.
